1. Penyertaan dalam promosi langganan ini adalah tertakluk kepada terma-terma di sini (“Terma & Syarat Khusus”) dan Terma dan Syarat Standard yang terdapat di atas (“Terma & Syarat Standard”). Sekiranya terdapat sebarang percanggahan antara Terma & Syarat Standard dan Terma & Syarat Khusus, Terma & Syarat Khusus akan digunakan. 
2. Promosi ini adalah untuk Pakej Berita Tablet Berita Harian (“Pakej”) dan sah sepanjang tempoh dari 1 December 2020 (“Tarikh Mula Promosi”) seperti yang ditentukan oleh SPH Media Limited mengikut budi bicara tunggal dan mutlaknya, bagi pelanggan Pakej di Singapura untuk tempoh langganan minimum tiga puluh (30) bulan (“Tempoh Langganan Minimum”), tertakluk kepada terma dan syarat yang dinyatakan di sini. Promosi ini tidak sah dengan tawaran promosi dan tawaran bundel lain.
3. Kelayakan:
   Tertakluk kepada syarat-syarat berikut, Promosi ini terbuka kepada semua warga negara dan penduduk tetap Singapura dan pekerja asing yang menetap di Singapura dan mempunyai permit kerja atau pas yang sah untuk sekurang-kurangnya dua puluh empat (24) bulan lagi.
   3.1 Berikut adalah golongan pelanggan (secara kolektif, “Pelanggan yang Layak”) yang layak untuk promosi ini:
   3.1.1 Pelanggan baru: Pelanggan yang tidak mempunyai langganan pada Pakej ini.
   Untuk mengelakkan keraguan, pelanggan adalah “Pelanggan Baru” jika tiada ahli isi rumah yang sama pada bila-bila masa sebelum ini melanggan Pakej secara langsung dengan SPH Media Limited atau menamatkan Pakej yang sama dalam masa sembilan puluh (90) hari penyerahan permohonan langganan. Untuk tujuan Seksyen 3.1.1 ini, “isi rumah” merujuk kepada unit domestik yang terdiri daripada ahli keluarga yang mempunyai alamat bil dan / atau alamat penghantaran yang sama.
   3.1.2 Pelanggan vendor:
   Pelanggan sedia ada Berita Harian yang membayar yuran langganan mereka kepada vendor akhbar. Selepas melanggani Promosi ini, langganan vendor akhbar akan ditukar kepada Langganan Secara Langsung dengan SPH Media Limited (“Pelanggan Vendor”).
   3.2 Berikut adalah golongan pelanggan yang layak untuk promosi ini dengan membayar yuran tambahan di atas pelan langganan mereka sekarang.
   3.2.1 Pelanggan sedia ada Berita Harian yang tidak mempunyai kontrak dengan SPH Media Limited dan ingin mengontrak semula pelan langganan mereka sekarang akan dikehendaki membayar yuran tambahan sebanyak $14.90 sebulan di atas yuran langganan untuk melanggan Pakej ini.
   3.2.2 Pelanggan Berita Harian yang mempunyai kontrak sedia ada dengan SPH Media Limited berhubungan dengan langganan mereka akan dikehendaki membayar yuran tambahan sebanyak $ 19.90 sebulan di atas yuran langganan untuk melanggan Pakej ini.
4. Untuk maklumat mengenai bila langganan anda untuk Pakej akan bermula, sila rujuk kepada huraian di bawah:
   4.1  Pelanggan Baru
   4.1.1. Bagi permohonan yang diterima melalui platform langganan SPH Media Limited, langganan berkenaan dengan Pakej akan bermula pada atau sekitar 2 hari bekerja selepas permohonan langganan diterima oleh SPH Media Limited.
   4.1.2 Bagi permohonan yang diterima melalui panggilan, langganan akan bermula sama ada pada hari pertama atau hari ke-15 pada bulan yang akan datang (tertakluk kepada masa untuk memproses permohonan selama 7 – 9 hari bekerja).
   4.2  Pelanggan Vendor
   4.2.1 Bagi permohonan yang diterima dari 1 hingga 15 haribulan bulan semasa, langganan secara langsung dengan SPH Media Limited akan bermula pada hari pertama bulan yang akan datang.
   4.2.2  Bagi permohonan yang diterima dari 16 hingga 31 haribulan bulan semasa, langganan secara langsung dengan SPH Media Limited akan bermula pada hari pertama bulan berikutnya.
   4.3   Pelanggan Sedia Ada
   4.3.1.Bagi permohonan yang diterima melalui platform langganan SPH Media Limited, langganan berkenaan dengan Pakej akan bermula pada atau sekitar 2 hari bekerja selepas permohonan langganan diterima oleh SPH Media Limited.
   4.3.2 Bagi permohonan yang diterima melalui panggilan, langganan akan bermula sama ada pada hari pertama atau hari ke-15 pada bulan yang akan datang (tertakluk kepada masa untuk memproses permohonan selama 7 – 9 hari bekerja).
5. Untuk memenuhi syarat untuk Alat Tablet Berita Samsung (“Alat”), anda mesti::
   (a)   mengambil langganan baru untuk Pakej ini atau, tambah kepada pakej langganan sedia ada;
   (b)   bersetuju untuk mengekalkan langganan anda pada Pakej tanpa sebarang perubahan pada pakej langganan anda sepanjang Tempoh Langganan Minimum (di mana “Tempoh Langganan Minimum” ditakrifkan dalam perenggan 2 di atas yang bermaksud tempoh selama 30 bulan) yang berkaitan dengan langganan anda; dan
   (c)   borang permohonan langganan anda yang lengkap mesti diterima oleh SPH Media Limited semasa Tempoh Promosi.
6. SPH Media Limited berhak untuk menentukan kelayakan anda untuk promosi ini mengikut budi bicara tunggal dan mutlaknya dan keputusannya di atas adalah muktamad dan berkekalan. Setiap pelanggan layak untuk menerima satu Alat untuk setiap langganan.
7. Pakej ini adalah seperti berikut:
   Tempoh Langganan Minimum
   30-bulan
   Bayaran yang terlibat
   7.1 Pelanggan Baru dan Pelanggan Vendor
   Pelanggan Baru dan Pelanggan Vendor boleh memilih untuk membayar yuran langganan mereka untuk Pakej ini melalui kaedah berikut.
   7.1.1 Bayaran bulanan sebanyak S$19.90 sebulan; ATAU
   7.1.2 Satu-kali bayaran pendahuluan sebanyak S$597 untuk yuran langganan selama 30 bulan berkenaan dengan Pakej. Pilihan bayaran pendahuluan ini hanya tersedia untuk pelanggan yang menghubungi Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited.
   7.2 Pelanggan Sedia Ada
   Pelanggan Bulanan Sedia Ada yang memilih untuk mengekalkan Pelan Langganan Sedia Ada dan melanggan Pakej ini boleh memilih untuk membayar yuran langganan mereka melalui kaedah berikut:
   7.2.1 Bayaran bulanan yang termasuk: (a) yuran langganan bulanan berkenaan dengan Pelan Langganan Sedia Ada; dan (b) bayaran tambahan sebanyak S$14.90 sebulan untuk yuran langganan berkenaan dengan Pakej; ATAU
   7.2.2 Satu-kali bayaran pendahuluan bagi jumlah yang sama dengan jumlah: (a) yuran langganan sedia ada selama 30 bulan berkenaan dengan Pelan Langganan Sedia Ada; dan (b) jumlah sebanyak S$447 untuk yuran langganan selama 30 bulan berkenaan dengan Pakej. Pilihan bayaran pendahuluan ini hanya tersedia untuk pelanggan yang menghubungi Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited.
   7.3 Pelanggan Kontrak Sedia Ada yang memilih untuk mengekalkan
   Kontrak Sedia Ada mereka dan melanggan Pakej boleh memilih untuk membayar yuran langganan mereka melalui kaedah berikut:
   7.3.1 Bayaran bulanan yang termasuk: (a) yuran langganan bulanan berkenaan dengan Kontrak Sedia Ada; dan (b) bayaran tambahan sebanyak S$19.90 sebulan untuk yuran langganan berkenaan dengan Pakej; ATAU
   7.3.2 Bayaran bulanan untuk yuran langganan bulanan yang berkenaan dengan Kontrak Sedia Ada dan satu-kali bayaran pendahuluan sebanyak S$597 untuk yuran langganan selama 30 bulan berkenaan dengan Pakej. Pilihan bayaran pendahuluan ini hanya tersedia untuk pelanggan yang menghubungi Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited.
   7.4 Pelanggan Sedia Ada yang memilih penamatan awal untuk Kontrak Sedia Ada
   Mereka dan melanggan Pakej ini boleh memilih untuk membayar yuran yang ditetapkan melalui kaedah berikut:
   7.4.1 Bayaran penamatan awal di bawah Kontrak Sedia Ada dan bayaran bulanan sebanyak S$19.90 sebulan untuk yuran langganan berkenaan dengan Pakej; ATAU
   7.4.2 Satu-kali bayaran pendahuluan bagi jumlah yang sama dengan jumlah: (a) yuran penamatan awal di bawah Kontrak Sedia Ada; dan (b) jumlah sebanyak S$597 untuk yuran langganan selama 30 bulan berkenaan dengan Pakej.
   Pilihan penamatan awal ini hanya tersedia untuk Pelanggan Sedia Ada yang menghubungi Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited.
8. SPH Media Limited mempunyai hak, mengikut budi bicara tunggal dan mutlaknya, untuk mengganti Alat dengan Alat lain yang sama nilainya.
9. Pemilikan
   9.1. (Hanya untuk Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan) Semua hak, hak milik dan saham Alat akan diserahkan kepada Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan hanya selepas SPH Media Limited menerima bayaran penuh yuran langganan dan yuran pakej yang dikenakan untuk tempoh kontrak selama 30 bulan. Sehingga pembayaran penuh diterima, SPH Media Limited akan mengekalkan semua hak, hak milik dan saham dalam Alat yang disediakan untuk setiap Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan dan Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan bersetuju untuk tidak menjual semula atau memberikan sahamnya dalam Alat itu sepanjang tempoh tersebut. Sekiranya Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan menamatkan langganan Pakej sebelum tamat tempoh kontrak selama 30 bulan, yuran penamatan dalam perenggan 12 di bawah akan dikenakan.
   9.2. (Hanya untuk Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan) akan menjadi harta tunggal dan eksklusif Pelanggan Berulang Bulanan setelah tempoh kontrak selama 30 bulan tamat dan apabila yuran langganan dan yuran pakej yang berkenaan telah dibayar dengan penuh.
   9.3 Untuk mengelakkan keraguan, Pelanggan yang membayar yuran langganan dan yuran Pakej yang berkenaan melalui satu kali bayaran pendahuluan (iaitu semua pelanggan yang memilih pilihan 7.1.3, 7.2.3, 7.3.3 atau 7.4.3 dalam perenggan 7 di atas) akan memiliki semua hak, hak milik dan penggunaan Alat itu setelah SPH Media Limited menerima bayaran pendahuluan tersebut.
   9.4 Walaupun Pemilikan Alat boleh dipindahkan kepada anda mengikut terma yang terkandung di sini, setiap Pelanggan mengakui dan bersetuju bahawa SPH Media Limited memiliki dan mengekalkan semua hak dan kepentingan, termasuk semua hak harta intelektual, berkenaan dengan Aplikasi.
10. Penebusan
    10.1 Setiap Alat mesti dikonfigurasikan oleh SPH Media Limited , atau kakitangan yang diberi kuasa oleh SPH Media Limited, pada masa penebusan. Alat tidak akan diberikan kepada Pelanggan sehingga Aplikasi dikonfigurasikan sepenuhnya dan dipasang di Alat.
    10.2 Para pelanggan mungkin tidak dapat mengkonfigurasi Alat dan memasang Aplikasi itu secara sendiri. Sekiranya Pelanggan enggan membenarkan Alat untuk menjalani konfigurasi megikut perenggan 10.1 di atas, tertakluk kepada perenggan 10.3 di bawah, dia akan dianggap telah kehilangan langganannya pada Pakej itu dan pembatalan dan bayaran balik akan diproses dalam tempoh 7 hari bekerja seterusnya.
    10.3 Mana-mana Alat , sekali dibuka mengikut arahan dan / atau persetujuan Pelanggan, akan dianggap sebagai dibeli dan ditebus oleh Pelanggan dan Pakej tidak boleh dibatalkan dan dikembalikan. Semua terma yang dinyatakan di atas akan dikenakan dengan serta merta dan, jika Syarat Konfigurasi tidak dipenuhi, maka Pelanggan akan dianggap telah menamatkan Langganan Kontrak sebelum tamat tempoh Langganan Minimum dan sewajarnya harus membayar SPH Media Limited jumlah yang kena dibayar di perenggan 14 di bawah.
11. Kehilangan dan kerosakan
    Pelanggan hendaklah menerima dan menanggung (i) keseluruhan risiko kerugian dan kerosakan pada Alat dari sebarang punca dan (ii) apa-apa dan semua kos yang terlibat untuk membaiki dan / atau menggantikanAlat . Tiada kerugian atau kerosakan kepada Alat atau mana-mana bahagiannya akan menjejaskan sebarang kewajipan Pelanggan untuk langganannya, yang akan terus berkuat kuasa dan berkesan sepanjang tempoh kontrak langganan.
12. Di mana Alat yang ditawarkan oleh SPH Media Limited ada berkaitan dengan langganan anda, syarat tambahan berikut akan dikenakan: (a) Alat hanya boleh didapati sementara stok masih ada; pertukaran tidak dibenarkan selepas permohonan langganan dihantar ke SPH Media Limited; (b) Anda bersetuju dan mengakui bahawa tiada representasi atau waranti dalam apa jua jenis, tersirat, nyata atau statutori, termasuk tanpa batasan jaminan yang tidak melanggar hak pihak ketiga, hak milik, kebolehdagangan, kualiti atau kecergasan untuk sebarang tujuan akan diberikan oleh SPH Media Limited berkenaan dengan Alat tersebut. SPH Media Limited tidak akan melayan sebarang permintaan untuk membayar balik atau memberi pertukaran berkenaan dengan mana-mana Alat yang didapati rosak atau tidak sesuai digunakan, atau untuk sebarang sebab lain; dan (c)Alat  mesti ditebus oleh pelanggan mengikut arahan dan terma yang dinyatakan dalam Surat Penebusan Hadiah yang akan anda terima dalam masa 4 hingga 6 minggu selepas permulaan langganan anda (untuk Pelanggan Baru) atau tarikh permulaan langganan secara langsung anda dengan SPH Media Limited (untuk Para Pelanggan Vendor, Pelanggan sedia ada tanpa kontrak dan Pelanggan rumah sedia ada secara langsung), dengan syarat anda memenuhi semua kriteria kelayakan yang berkaitan. Alat yang tidak ditebus oleh anda dalam tempoh 3 bulan dari Surat Penebusan Hadiah (atau apa-apa tempoh lain yang dinyatakan dalam surat itu) akan ditarik balik. Dalam keadaan sedemikian, untuk mengelakkan keraguan, kewajipan anda di bawah terma-terma di sini (termasuk tanpa batasan kewajipan anda untuk mengekalkan langganan anda untuk Tempoh Langganan Minimum) akan diteruskan sepenuhnya.
13. Perkhidmatan Penghantaran Ke Rumah
    13.1 Pelanggan boleh memilih untuk menebus Alat melalui perkhidmatan penghantaran ke rumah (“Perkhidmatan Penghantaran Rumah”) dengan bayaran S$15 setiap Alat (“Bayaran Penghantaran Ke Rumah”).
    13.2 SPH Media Limited akan membuat penghantaran dalam masa 7 hari bekerja dari tarikh pembelian langganan. Semua pertanyaan untuk membatalkan atau menjadualkan semula temu janji boleh dibuat secara langsung melalui Talian Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited
    13.3 Akan terdapat maksimum tiga (3) percubaan. Tiada pengembalian wang bagi Yuran Penghantaran Rumah selepas 3 percubaan diselesaikan. Tambahan $15 akan dikenakan bagi sebarang percubaan penghantaran tambahan yang diminta.
14. Selepas tamatnya Tempoh Langganan Minimum, anda bersetuju bahawa langganan anda bagi Pakej ini akan terus berkuat kuasa untuk masa yang ditetapkan untuk langganan tersebut (“Kontrak Langganan”) sehingga dan melainkan anda memberi notis secara bertulis kepada SPH Media Limited bahawa anda ingin menamatkannya mengikut terma yang ditetapkan. Setelah penamatan Kontrak Langganan anda, program KNOX yang tertanam dalam Alat anda akan dikeluarkan dalam masa 4 minggu.(Hanya untuk pelanggan yang mempunyai kontrak langganan sedia ada Berita Harian pada masa langganan Pakej) Untuk mengelakkan keraguan, jika terdapat sebarang percanggahan antara syarat kontrak langganan sedia ada pelanggan dan syarat khusus berhubung dengan Pakej ini, syarat khusus akan digunakan. Jika kontrak langganan sedia ada pelanggan mengandungi tempoh langganan minimum dan menyatakan bahawa yuran penamatan akan dikenakan sekiranya berlakunya penamatan sebelum tamat tempoh langganan minimum di bawah kontrak langganan itu, pelanggan akan bertanggungjawab untuk membayar semua yuran penamatan yang dikenakan di bawah kontrak langganan sedia ada dan / atau di bawah syarat khusus ini (mengikut mana yang berkenaan), sekiranya langganan itu ditamatkan sebelum habis tempoh langganan minimum di bawah kontrak langganan pelanggan dan / atau syarat khusus ini.
15. Sekiranya anda menamatkan Kontrak Langganan sebelum tamat Tempoh Langganan Minimum untuk apa jua sebab, atau anda gagal membayar SPH Media Limited apa-apa jumlah wang pada bila-bila masa semasa Tempoh Langganan Minimum dan apabila SPH Media Limited melaksanakan hak-haknya di bawah syarat Standard untuk menamatkan langganan anda, yuran dan caj berikut juga akan dikenakan dan harus dibayar oleh anda kepada SPH Media Limited atas notis SPH Media Limited :
    15.1 yuran pentadbiran sebanyak $20;
    15.2 yuran penamatan sebanyak $600 jika Tempoh Langganan Minimum adalah tiga puluh (30) bulan. Untuk mengelakkan keraguan, jika anda menamatkan Kontrak Langganan sebelum tamat Tempoh Langganan Minimum, yuran dalam perenggan 7 ini akan dikenakan dan harus dibayar oleh anda.
16. Melainkan jika SPH Media Limited sudah menyatakan sebaliknya secara jelas, setiap pelanggan hanya boleh menikmati satu Pakej pada bila-bila masa, dan tidak boleh digunakan bersamaan dengan promosi atau tawaran lain. Pelanggan mengakui bahawa Alat disediakan berkaitan dengan Pakej tersebut dan bersetuju untuk tidak menjual, menyewakan, mempajak dan / atau mengedarkan Alat.
17. Pada satu-satu masa, tidak boleh ada lebih dari dua (2) pakej tablet berita SPH Media Limited yang (di semua penerbitan) terikat pada satu (1) alamat alamat pengebilan. Walau bagaimanapun, SPH Media Limited boleh, mengikut budi bicara mutlaknya, memberikan pengecualian untuk perkara di atas. Sila hubungi Perkhidmatan Pelanggan SPH Media Limited jika anda mempunyai sebarang pertanyaan.
18. SPH Media Limited dan / atau penyedia perkhidmatan kami yang relevan akan mengesahkan alamat pengebilan anda pada saat penebusan atau, mengikut keadaan, penghantaran Alat tablet. Langganan anda akan ditamatkan dan anda tidak berhak menebus Alat tablet sekiranya alamat pengebilan anda tidak sesuai dengan bukti alamat kediaman anda (seperti yang dinyatakan dalam dokumen pengenalan diri anda).
19. Waranti
    19.1 Pengilang Alat menyediakan waranti produk standard selama 12-bulan standard (“Waranti Produk Standard”) berkenaan dengan Alat dan pelanggan dikehendaki untuk mendaftar dan mengaktifkan waranti secara online di bhsub.sg/warranty.
    19.2 Sekiranya Alat rosak atau mempunyai kecacatan semasa tempoh waranti di bawah Waranti Produk Standard (dan sebarang pelanjutan selepasnya), pelanggan bertanggungjawab untuk membawa semula Alat dan surat penebusan yang asli ke salah satu pusat perkhidmatan yang dinyatakan di dalam Surat Pengakuan Penebusan Hadiah. Maklumat lanjut mengenai perlindungan waranti standard kepada Alat boleh didapati di bhsub.sg/warranty; sementara itu, pelanggan akan dapat mengakses penerbitan di beritaharian.sg/ dan mempunyai akses serentak ke aplikasi telefon bimbit Berita Harian pada satu Alat . Pelanggan bersetuju untuk menanggung semua kos dan perbelanjaan yang berkaitan dengan pembaikian atau penggantian Alat pada bila-bila masa dan sepanjang masa.
    19.3 Semua perkara yang berkaitan dengan Waranti Produk Standard (dan sebarang pelanjutan selepasnya) adalah antara pelanggan dan pengilang dan SPH Media Limited tidak akan bertanggungjawab untuk apa-apa percanggahan atau perubahan (jika ada) berkenaan dengan di atas. SPH Media Limited juga tidak akan bertanggungjawab untuk sebarang tuntutan, tindakan atau aduan yang dibuat secara langsung atau tidak, atau sebarang liabiliti, pertimbangan, kompaun, penalti, kerugian, kos, ganti rugi, perbelanjaan, kecederaan peribadi atau kematian yang berkaitan dengan Waranti Produk Standard (dan sebarang pelanjutan di atas).
    19.4 Sekiranya Alat hilang atau jika anda ingin mengganti Alat atas sebab-sebab lain, sila hubungi SPH Media Limited di 6388 3838 untuk membeli Alat Samsung yang baru. Aplikasi SPHtab dan program KNOX hanya tersedia pada tablet Samsung yang dikeluarkan oleh SPH Media Limited dan / atau ejen dan pusat servis yang sah. SPH Media Limited dan / atau ejen dan pusat servis yang sah tidak akan dapat mengkonfigurasi dan memasukkan aplikasi SPHtab dan program KNOX pada tablet atau Alat yang dibeli melalui saluran lain.
20. Dengan melanggan Pakej ini, anda setuju dengan syarat-syarat polisi privasi kami seperti yang diubah dari semasa ke semasa, tersedia di readsph.sg/privacy (“Polisi Privasi”), dan syarat-syarat Polisi Privasi dimasukkan ke dalam Syarat dan Ketentuan Khusus ini dengan rujukan.
21. Tertakluk kepada undang-undang yang berlaku, dengan melanggani Pakej ini, anda memberi kebenaran dan bersetuju bahawa
    21.1  SPH Media Limited dan syarikat-syarikat berkaitan dengannya berhak untuk menguruskan ciri-ciri program KNOX yang terkandung di dalam Alat anda, termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada keupayaan untuk (i) membuat pengubahsuaian dan perubahan dari jauh kepada konfigurasi, penggunaan dan pengurusan antara muka Alat , grafik, klip audio, kandungan editorial, imej dan / atau video, serta skrip dan perisian yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan program KNOX; (ii) memasang aplikasi dari jauh (termasuk aplikasi dari SPH Media Limited dan syarikat-syarikat berkaitan dengannya dan / atau pihak ketiga yang lain) pada Alat ; (iii) membuat pengubahsuaian dan perubahan dari jauh ke kertas dinding dan imej skrin kunci Alat; dan (iv) menghantar iklan, maklumat pemasaran dan komunikasi lain melalui nota, notifikasi tolak atau dalam bentuk atau media lain pada Alat anda.
    21.2  kepada SPH Media Limited dan syarikat-syarikat yang berkaitan, mengumpulkan, menggunakan dan mendedahkan diagnostik, teknikal, penggunaan dan data atau maklumat lain yang berkaitan, termasuk, tetapi tidak terhad kepada, pengecam sistem dan perkakasan unik dan maklumat mengenai Alat anda, yang dikumpulkan secara berkala dalam bentuk tanpa nama untuk meningkatkan produk dan perkhidmatan SPH Media Limited , memfasilitasi penyediaan kemas kini perisian, sokongan produk dan untuk tujuan yang dinyatakan dalam Polisi Privasi SPH Media Limited.
22. SPH Media Limited dan syarikat-syarikat berkaitan dengannya tidak akan bertanggungjawab atau menanggung sebarang kerugian (termasuk tanpa had sebarang kerugian dan kerosakan kepada kehilangan keuntungan secara tidak langsung atau berbangkit, gangguan perniagaan atau kehilangan maklumat), liabiliti, perbelanjaan, tuntutan dan kos yang timbul daripada atau berkaitan dengan Alat , termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada, sebarang kecederaan, kerosakan, kematian atau akibat lain yang berlaku atau yang dikatakan berlaku kepada mana-mana orang secara langsung atau tidak langsung, pemilikan atau penggunaan Alat  itu sama ada dituntut oleh sebab pelanggaran jaminan, kecuaian, kecacatan produk atau sebaliknya, dan tanpa mengira bentuk di mana tuntutan sedemikian dibuat, kecuali bagi apa-apa liabiliti yang tidak boleh dikecualikan oleh undang-undang yang berkenaan (dalam kes sedemikian, liabiliti itu terhad pada tahap yang dibenarkan oleh undang-undang yang berkenaan).
23. SPH Media Limited boleh, mengikut budi bicara mutlaknya, mengubah atau menyemak semula Terma & Syarat Khusus dan / atau menamatkan atau menarik balik promosi ini pada bila-bila masa tanpa notis terlebih dahulu.

1. Participation in this subscription promotion is subject to the terms herein (the “Specific T&Cs”) and the Standard Terms and Conditions available above (the “General T&Cs”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General T&Cs and the Specific T&Cs, the Specific T&Cs shall prevail.
2. This promotion is for the Berita Harian News Tablet Package (the “Package”) and is valid during the period commencing from 1 December 2020 to such date as may be determined by SPH Media Limited in its sole and absolute discretion (the “Promotion Period”), for persons in Singapore who agree to subscribe for, and maintain their subscription in respect of, the Package for a minimum subscription period of 30 months (the “Minimum Subscription Period”), subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. This promotion is not valid with other promotions and bundle deals.
3. Eligibility:
   Subject to the following conditions, this promotion is open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents and foreign workers who reside in Singapore and have work permits or passes which are valid for at least 24 months from the date of submission of the subscription application.
   3.1   The following groups of subscribers (collectively, the “Eligible Subscribers”) are eligible for this promotion:
   3.1.1   New subscribers (“New Subscribers”): Subscribers who do not currently have a subscription to the Package.
   3.1.2   Vendor subscribers (“Vendor Subscribers”): Existing subscribers of The Berita Harian who are currently paying their subscription fees to a newspaper vendor. Upon subscription under this Promotion, the newspaper vendor subscription will be converted into Direct Subscriptions with SPH Media Limited .
   3.2   The following groups of subscribers (collectively, the “Existing Subscribers”) are eligible for this promotion:
   3.2.1 Existing subscribers who have subscribed for The Berita Harian under an existing subscription plan (“Existing Subscription Plan”) with SPH Media Limited which is renewed automatically on a monthly basis (“Existing Month-to-Month Subscribers”) may elect to retain their Existing Subscription Plan and subscribe for the Package.
   3.2.2   Existing subscribers who have subscribed for The Berita Harian under an existing contract (“Existing Term Contract”) with SPH Media Limited which has a minimum subscription period (“Existing Term Subscribers”) may elect to: (a) retain their Existing Term Contract and subscribe for the Package; or (b) request for an early termination of their Existing Term Contract and subscribe for the Package.
4. For information on when your subscription to the Package will commence, please refer to the breakdown below:
   4.1   New Subscribers
   4.1.1   For applications received through the SPH Media Limited subscription platform, subscription in respect of the Package will commence on or around 2 working days after the subscription application is received by SPH Media Limited.
   4.1.2   For applications received through call-in, subscription will commence either 1st or 15th day of the upcoming month (subject to processing time of 7 – 9 working days).
   4.2   Vendor Subscribers
   4.2.1   For applications received from 1st – 15th of current month, direct subscription with SPH Media Limited will commence on the 1st day of the upcoming month.
   4.2.2   For applications received from 16th – 31st of current month, direct subscription with SPH Media Limited will commence on the 1st day of the following month.
   4.3   Existing Subscribers
   4.3.1   For applications received through the SPH Media Limited subscription platform, subscription in respect of the Package will commence on or around 2 working days after the subscription application is received by SPH Media Limited.
   4.4   For applications received through call-in, subscription will commence either 1st or 15th day of the upcoming month (subject to processing time of 7 – 9 working days).
5. To qualify for a Samsung News Tablet Device (“Device”), you must:
   5.1    take up a new subscription to the Package or, add on to your existing subscription package;
   5.2   agree to maintain your subscription to the Package without any change to your subscription package for the entire duration of the Minimum Subscription Period (where “Minimum Subscription Period” is defined in paragraph 2 above to mean the period of 30 months) applicable to your subscription; and
   5.3   your duly completed subscription application form must be received by SPH Media Limited during the Promotion Period.
6. SPH Media Limited has the right to determine your eligibility for this promotion at its sole and absolute discretion and its decision thereon shall be final and binding. Each subscriber is eligible to receive one Device per subscription.
7. The Package is as follows:
   Minimum Period of Subscription

   Fees involved
   7.1 New Subscribers and Vendor Subscribers
   New Subscribers and Vendor Subscribers can choose to pay their subscription fees for the Package via the following methods:
   7.1.1   Monthly payments of S$19.90 per month;OR
   7.1.2   One-time upfront payment of S$597 for 30 months of subscription fees in respect of the Package. This upfront payment option is only available to subscribers who call in to SPH Media Limited Customer Service.
   7.2   Existing Subscribers
   Existing Month-to-Month Subscribers who elect to retain their Existing Subscription Plan and subscribe for the Package may choose to pay their subscription fees via the following methods:
   7.2.1   Monthly payments of: (a) the prevailing monthly subscription fees in respect of their Existing Subscription Plan; and (b) an additional amount of S$14.90  per month as the subscription fees in respect of the Package; OR
   7.2.2   One-time upfront payment of an amount equal to the sum of: (a) 30 months of their existing subscription fees in respect of their Existing Subscription Plan; and (b) an amount of S$447  for 30 months of subscription fees in respect of the Package. This upfront payment option is only available to subscribers who call in to SPH Media Limited Customer Service.
   7.3   Existing Term Subscribers who elect to retain their Existing Term Contract
   Existing Term Subscribers who elect to retain their Existing Term Contract and subscribe for the Package may choose to pay their subscription fees via the following methods:
   7.3.1   Monthly payments of: (a) the prevailing monthly subscription fees in respect of their Existing Term Contract; and (b) an additional amount of S$19.90 per month as the subscription fees in respect of the Package; OR

7.3.2   Monthly payments of the prevailing monthly subscription fees in respect of their Existing Term Contract and a one-time upfront payment of S$597  for 30 months of subscription fees in respect of the Package. This upfront payment option is only available to subscribers who call in to SPH Media Limited Customer Service.
7.4  Existing Term Subscribers who elect to request for an early termination of their Existing Term Contract
Existing Term Subscribers who elect to request for an early termination of their Existing Term Contract and subscribe for the Package may choose to pay the fees due via the following methods:
7.4.1   The early termination fees under the Existing Term Contract and monthly payments of S$19.90 per month as the subscription fees in respect of the Package; OR
7.4.2   One-time upfront payment of an amount equal to the sum of: (a) the early termination fees under the Existing Term Contract; and (b) an amount of S$597  for 30 months of subscription fees in respect of the Package.This early termination option is only available to Existing Term Subscribers who call in to SPH Media Limited Customer Service.Subscribers who opt to make monthly or annual payments of their subscription fees in respect of the Package (i.e. subscribers who choose options 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 7.2.1, 7.2.2, 7.3.1, 7.3.2, 7.4.1 or 7.4.2 above) shall collectively be referred to as the “Recurring Subscribers”.

8. SPH Media Limited has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute the Device with another device of similar value.
9. Ownership
   9.1 (Applicable only to Recurring Subscribers) All rights, title and interest in the Device shall pass to the Recurring Subscriber only upon (a) receipt by SPH Media Limited of full payment of the subscription fees and applicable Package fees for the contractual period of 30 months and (b) satisfaction of the configuration requirements under paragraph 10.1 below (the “Configuration Requirements”). Otherwise, subject to paragraph 11.1, SPH Media Limited retains all rights, title and interest in the Device provided to each Recurring Subscriber and the Recurring Subscriber agrees not to re-sell or assign his/her interest in the Device during such period. In the event that the Recurring Subscriber terminates the subscription to the Package before the expiry of the 30-month contractual period, the termination fees in paragraph 14 below shall apply.
   9.2 (Applicable only to Recurring Subscribers) At the end of the 30-month contractual period and upon full payment of the subscription fees and applicable Package fees and provided that the Configuration Requirements are satisfied, the Device will be the sole and exclusive property of the Recurring Subscriber.
   9.3 (Applicable to subscribers who choose options 7.1.2, 7.2.2, 7.3.2 or 7.4.2 in paragraph 7 above) Subscribers who make payment of the subscription fees in respect of the Package via a one-time upfront payment and satisfy the Configuration Requirements shall own all rights, title and interest in the Device upon receipt of such one-time upfront payment by SPH Media Limited and satisfaction of the Configuration Requirements.
   9.4 Notwithstanding that the ownership of Device may be transferred to you in accordance with the terms herein, each subscriber acknowledges and agrees that SPH Media Limited owns and retains all rights and interest, including all intellectual property rights, in respect of the KNOX programme.
10. Redemption
    10.1 The Device must be redeemed by subscribers through (a) the designated news tablet redemption centres or (b) the Home Delivery Service in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Letter which you will receive within two (2) working days upon successful purchase of your subscription (for New Subscribers) or the date of commencement of your direct subscription with SPH Media Limited (for Vendor Subscribers and Existing Subscribers), provided that you satisfy all relevant eligibility criteria. Devices which are not redeemed by you within four (4) weeks of the date of the Gift Redemption Letter (or such other period stated in the letter) will be forfeited. In such event, for the avoidance of doubt, your obligations under the terms herein (including, without limitation, your obligation to maintain your subscription for the Minimum Subscription Period) will continue to apply in full.
    10.2 Each Device must be configured by SPH Media Limited, or an authorised personnel approved by SPH Media Limited, at the point of redemption. The Device will not be released to a subscriber until the KNOX programme is fully configured and installed in the Device.
    10.3 Subscribers may not configure the Device and install the KNOX programme on their own. Should a subscriber refuse to allow the Device to undergo the configuration in accordance with paragraph 10.2 above, subject to paragraph 10.4 below, he / she will be deemed to forfeit his / her subscription to the Package and a cancellation and refund will be processed within the next 7 working days.
    10.4 Any Device, once unsealed and opened in accordance with the instructions and/or agreement of a subscriber, is deemed to be purchased and redeemed by the subscriber and the Package may not be cancelled and refunded. All terms stated above will apply with immediate effect and, if the Configuration Requirements are not satisfied, then the subscriber will be deemed to have terminated his / her subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period and will accordingly have to pay SPH Media Limited the sums due under paragraph 15 below.
11. Loss and Damage
    11.1 Subscribers shall assume and bear (a) the entire risk of loss and damage to the Device from any and every cause whatsoever and (b) any and all costs involved in repairing and/or replacing the Device on and from the time of redemption of the Device. No loss or damage to the Device or any part thereof shall impair any obligation of subscriber under the subscription, which shall continue in full force and effect through the term of the subscription contract.
    11.2 In the event a subscriber loses the Device, he / she may make a written request for SPH Media Limited to remotely lock the Device and restrict access to the KNOX programme embedded within the Device.
12. Where the Device is offered by SPH Media Limited in connection with your subscription, the following additional terms apply: (a) The Device is only available whilst stocks last; strictly no exchange is allowed after the subscription application is submitted to SPH Media Limited; (b) You agree and acknowledge that no representations or warranties of any kind, implied, express or statutory, including, without limitation, the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose, are given by SPH Media Limited in respect of the Device. SPH Media Limited will not entertain any requests to issue any refund or grant an exchange in respect of any Device that is found to be faulty or not fit for use, or for any other reasons; and (c) Device must be redeemed by subscribers in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Letter which you will receive within two working days upon successful purchase of your subscription (for New Subscribers) or the date of commencement of your direct subscription with SPH Media Limited (for Vendor Subscribers and Existing Subscribers), provided that you satisfy all relevant eligibility criteria. Devices which are not redeemed by you within 4 weeks of the date of the Gift Redemption Letter (or such other period stated in the letter) will be forfeited. In such event, for the avoidance of doubt, your obligations under the terms herein (including, without limitation, your obligation to maintain your subscription for the Minimum Subscription Period) will continue to apply in full.
13. Home Delivery Service
    13.1 Subscribers may opt to redeem the Devices through the home delivery service (the “Home Delivery Service”) for a fee of S$15 per Device (the “Home Delivery Fee”).
    13.2 SPH Media Limited will arrange for the delivery within 7 working days from the date of purchase of the subscription. All queries to cancel or reschedule the appointment should be made via SPH Media Limited Customer Service Hotline (details of which are provided in the redemption email).
    13.3   There will be a maximum of three (3) delivery attempts. If, at the sole discretion of the service provider, all three (3) delivery attempts are unsuccessful, you will be charged an addit ional fee of S$15 per Device for any subsequent delivery attempts requested. There will be no refunds made for the delivery fees in respect of the unsuccessful delivery attempts.[2]
14. Upon expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, you agree that your subscription to the Package will continue in force on the then prevailing terms for such subscription until and unless you provide SPH Media Limited with notice in writing that you wish to terminate in accordance with the said terms. Upon termination of your subscription to the Package after the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, the KNOX programme embedded within your Device will be removed within a period of 4 weeks.
    (Only applicable in respect of subscribers who have an Existing Subscription Plan or Existing Term Contract at the time of subscription for the Package) For the avoidance of doubt, if there is any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the subscriber’s existing subscription contract and the Specific T&Cs in respect of this Package, the Specific T&Cs shall prevail. If the subscriber’s Existing Term Contract contains a minimum subscription period and provides that termination fees will be payable in the event of termination before the expiry of the minimum subscription period under that Existing Term Contract, the subscriber shall be liable to pay all the applicable termination fees under the Existing Term Contract and/or under these Specific T&Cs (as the case may be), in the event that the subscription is terminated prior to the expiry of the respective minimum subscription period under the subscriber’s Existing Term Contract and/or these Specific T&Cs.
15. Termination
    15.1 If you terminate your subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or during the Minimum Subscription Period you fail to pay to SPH Media Limited any sums as and when due and SPH Media Limited exercises its rights under the Standard Terms to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH Media Limited upon notice by SPH Media Limited:
    15.1.1 administrative fee of $20; and
    15.1.2   termination fees of $600 if the Minimum Subscription Period is thirty (30) months.
    15.2   For the avoidance of doubt, if you terminate your subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, the fees in this paragraph 14 shall be due and payable by you.  In the event of a termination of a subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, (a) all of the subscriber’s entitlements under the Package (including, without limitation, the Standard Product Warranty (as defined below) and any extension thereon) will cease and (b) all amounts paid prior to the date of termination (including, without limitation, any additional amount paid under paragraph 17 to extend the Standard Product Warranty) will be strictly non-refundable.
16. Unless SPH Media Limited has stated expressly otherwise, each subscriber may only enjoy one Package at any time, which may not be applied in conjunction with any other promotions or offers. The subscriber recognises that the Device is provided in connection with the Package and agrees not to sell, rent, lease and/or distribute the Device.
17. At any one time, there must not be more than two (2) existing SPH Media Limited news tablet packages (across all publications) that are tied to one (1) billing address. However, SPH Media Limited may, in its sole and absolute discretion, grant exceptions to the foregoing. Please contact SPH Media Limited Customer Service if you have any queries.
18. SPH Media Limited and/or our relevant service providers will verify your billing address at the point of redemption or, as the case may be, delivery of the Device. Your subscription will be terminated and you will not be entitled to redeem the Device if your billing address does not match your proof of residential address (as stated in your identification documents).
19. Warranty
    19.1   The manufacturer of the Device provides a standard 12-month manufacturer product warranty (the “Standard Product Warranty”) in respect of the Device and the subscriber is required to register and activate the warranty online at stsub.sg/warranty.
    19.2   In the event that the Device is spoilt or defective during the warranty period under the Standard Product Warranty, the subscriber is responsible for bringing the Device and original redemption letter back to one of the service centres stated in the Gift Redemption Acknowledgement Letter. More information about standard warranty coverage to the Device can be found at stsub.sg/warranty; in the meantime, subscribers will be able to access publication(s) on www.beritaharian.com.sg/ and have concurrent access to the Berita Harian mobile application on one device. The subscriber agrees to bear all costs and expenses incurred in connection with the repair or replacement of the Device at any and all times.
    19.3   All matters relating to the Standard Product Warranty (and any extension thereon) are solely between the subscriber and the manufacturer and SPH Media Limited will not be responsible for any discrepancies or changes (if any) in respect of the foregoing. SPH Media Limited will also not be liable for any direct or indirect claims, actions, demands or complaints, or any liabilities, judgments, compounds, penalties, losses, costs, damages, expenses, personal injury or death in connection with the Standard Product Warranty (and any extension thereon).
    19.4 In the event that the Device is lost or if you wish to replace the Device for any other reason, please contact SPH Media Limited directly at 6388 3838 to purchase a new Samsung device. The SPHtab application and KNOX programme are only available on Samsung tablets issued by SPH Media Limited and/or its authorised agents and service centres. SPH Media Limited and/or its authorised agents and service centres will not be able to configure a tablet or device purchased through other channels, to include the SPHtab application and KNOX programme on such tablet or device.
20. By subscribing for the Package, agree and consent to the terms of our privacy policy as amended from time to time, available at readsph.sg/privacy (“Privacy Policy“), and the terms of the Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Specific T&Cs by reference.
21. Subject to applicable laws, by subscribing for the Package, you further agree and consent:
    21.1   that SPH Media Limited and its related corporations shall have the right to manage features of the KNOX programme embedded within your Device, which includes, but is not limited to, the ability to: (a) make modifications and changes remotely to the configuration, deployment and management of the Device’s interface, graphics, audio clips, editorial content, images and/or videos, and the scripts and software used to implement the KNOX programme; (b) remotely install applications (including applications from SPH Media Limited and its related corporations and/or other third parties) on the Device; (c) make modifications and changes remotely to the wallpaper and lock screen image of the Device; and (d) send you advertisements, marketing information and other communications through alerts, push notifications or in any other form or media on your Device at any time from time to time. If, during the Minimum Subscription Period, you fail to pay to SPH Media Limited any sums as and when due, you consent and agree for SPH Media Limited to remotely lock your Device and restrict access to the KNOX programme embedded within the Device.
    21.2  to SPH Media Limited and its related corporations, collecting, using and disclosing diagnostic, technical, usage and other related data or information, including, but not limited to, unique system or hardware identifiers and information about your Device, that is gathered periodically in an anonymised form in order to improve SPH Media Limited’s products and services, facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.
22. SPH Media Limited and its related corporations shall in no way be responsible or liable for any loss (including, without limitation, any indirect or consequential loss and damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information), liability, expenses, claims and costs arising out of or in connection with the Device, including, but not limited to, any actual or alleged injury, damage, death or other consequences occurring to any person as a result, directly or indirectly, of the possession or use of the Device whether claimed by reason of breach of warranty, negligence, product defect or otherwise, and regardless of the form in which any such claim is made, save for any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable laws (in which case that liability is limited to the extent allowed by applicable laws).
23. SPH Media Limited may, at its sole and absolute discretion, vary, amend or revise the T&Cs terminate or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.

1. These Standard Subscription Terms and Conditions (“Standard Terms”) govern your subscription(s) to newspapers published by SPH Media Limited and its successors-in-title (“SPH Media”), irrespective of the delivery platform or means of access. SPH Media has the right to amend these Standard Terms from time to time by posting any amendments on its website, and you agree to be bound by these amendments.

2. You must be 18 years old and above to subscribe to our services. If you are below 18 years old, please get your parent or guardian to undertake the subscription. You hereby represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the necessary legal capacity, right, power and authority to agree to these Standard Terms and you are either;

(a) using and/or accessing the subscription and contracting in your own personal capacity;

(b) using and/or accessing the subscription and contracting on behalf of a corporate entity; or

(c) contracting as parent or guardian of a child or ward who is less than 18 years old and who is using and/or accessing the subscription, in which event you agree as his/her parent/guardian, both in your personal capacity and on behalf of your child/ward, to be bound by these Standard Terms and to be liable for your child’s or ward’s acts and omissions while using and/or accessing the subscription, and you also agree to ensure that your child or ward observes these Standard Terms.

3. You also agree to be bound by any specific terms governing payment, subscription fees, minimum subscription periods, entitlements to any gift or premium under any promotion, termination fees and delivery fees which are applicable to your subscription as set out in our application forms for the relevant subscription packages and payment terms you have selected.

4. SPH Media has the right to vary subscription fees payable or any other term relating to your subscription from time to time upon giving you at least 1 month’s prior notice.

5. Please take note that if you have opted to take delivery of the print edition of your subscribed newspapers, the applicable Delivery Fee, once charged, is non-refundable. Delivery Fees are charged by residential type, and will be charged per subscriber account per delivery address.

6. You should receive a letter acknowledging your subscription within 30 days of confirming your subscription.

7. All subscription fees are due in advance. Please ensure that payment is made and cleared by your bank before each monthly/annual recurring payment is due. For payments by credit card, your credit card account must be in good standing and remain valid for the monthly/annual charge(s) to be debited successfully. If your credit card has expired, or if you wish to use a different credit card, you must notify us promptly by contacting our Customer Experience Team at least 14 days before your next subscription fee payment is due. If you fail to provide us such notice in a timely manner, you shall be liable for any prevailing administrative, termination or other fees which SPH Media may impose in accordance with clause 10 below.

8. You may cancel your subscription to the Package at any time after the Minimum Subscription Period. However, you agree that your subscription to the Package will continue and be renewed automatically on a monthly or yearly basis (depending on the payment plan you select) until you expressly instruct us that you wish to cancel your subscription by providing us with at least 30 days’ prior notice in one of the following ways: (a) in writing and sent by post to “Customer Experience Team, Consumer Division, SPH Media Ltd, 1000 Toa Payoh North Annexe Level 6, News Centre, Singapore 318994”; or (b) by calling our Customer Experience Team at 6388 3838; or (c) by emailing us at circs@sph.com.sg. If the minimum subscription period applicable to your subscription has not yet expired as at the date of such termination, the prevailing administrative, termination or other fees shall also be due and payable by you. Unless otherwise stated by SPH Media, any renewal of your subscription will be on the prevailing subscription terms.

9. If timely payment of your subscription fees or other payments due from you is not made for any reason, or if you breach any other terms and conditions that are applicable to your subscription, SPH Media may, without prejudice to its rights and remedies at law to recover any sums due from you, suspend or terminate your subscription without further notice or obligation to you and you may be subject to the prevailing administrative, termination or other fees.

10. If you experience any issues pertaining to delivery of newspapers (including but not limited to non-delivery of print editions of newspapers), please alert us promptly by contacting our Customer Experience Team no later than two (2) days after the date of the newspaper(s) in question.

11. In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies in your invoice/statement/records relating to the payment for your subscription, you must notify us promptly by contacting our Customer Experience Team no later than fourteen (14) days from the date of the invoice/statement/records for us to investigate into the matter, otherwise our records shall be conclusive of the amounts due from you and we will not entertain any disputes in relation to the same.

12. You confirm that the information provided in your subscription application form is true and correct at the point of application, and undertake to promptly inform SPH Media if there are any changes to the information provided from time to time.

13. You may seek a temporary suspension of delivery of print newspaper(s) (“Temporary Stop”) by making a Temporary Stop request online at our website at https://subscribe.sph.com.sg/ (click on “Temporary Stop” option under “My Services” section). You agree that any Temporary Stop request (a) is offered on a goodwill basis only and is subject to SPH Media’s approval in its absolute discretion, (b) must be made at least three (3) clear working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before its intended start date, and (c) must be for a minimum of 3 consecutive days and cannot exceed 30 consecutive days per request.

14. If you are a Print-only subscriber and your Temporary Stop request is approved for a duration of at least 8 days, SPH Media may in its absolute discretion offer a refund or credit of your subscription for the duration of the Temporary Stop, up to a maximum of 30 days per calendar year in aggregate. All-in-One subscribers are not entitled to any refund or credit of subscription for any Temporary Stop of any duration as they will continue to have access to digital editions of their subscribed publications.

15. You agree and acknowledge that notwithstanding any approval by SPH Media of a Temporary Stop request, SPH Media does not undertake or guarantee that all delivery personnel will carry out Temporary Stop requests without error or at all. In such event, notwithstanding Clause 14, you remain liable to pay for all newspapers delivered to you during any Temporary Stop period requested. SPH Media shall not be liable for any loss or damage which you may suffer in connection with any continued delivery of newspaper(s) or any Temporary Stop request.

16. By submitting your subscription application form, you hereby agree and consent to:

(i) the terms of our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.sph.com.sg/legal/sph_privacy.html as amended from time to time, and the terms of the Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Standard Terms by reference;

(ii) SPH Media, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes of processing your subscription application and to provide you with the products and services you have requested. These purposes are set out in the SPH Media Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.sph.com.sg/legal/sph_privacy.html and which may be amended from time to time; and

(iii) the terms of our SPH Media Member Terms and Conditions which can be found at https://www.sph.com.sg/legal/member_conditions.html as amended from time to time, and the terms of the SPH Media Member Terms and Conditions are incorporated into these Standard Terms by reference. You further agree that SPH Media’s decision on all matters or disputes relating to or in connection with your subscription and any matters ancillary thereto (including without limitation payment, delivery, promotions or eligibility requirements) are final and conclusive on you. In the event of conflict between these Standard Terms and the SPH Media Member Terms and Conditions, these Standard Terms shall prevail.

17. SPH Media has the right to vary or amend any terms and conditions which may apply to your subscription upon notice in writing by posting to SPH Media’s website.
