What is The Business Times 50th Anniversary Celebratory Special for Singapore Open?

1. BT50 Anniversary Celebratory Special x Singapore Open Package: 2–22 April, 2026

The Singapore Open is a professional golf tournament in Singapore and a longstanding part of the Asian Tour. The 2026 edition will take place from 23–26 April 2026 at Sentosa Golf Club, The Serapong. 

The BT50 Anniversary Celebratory Special x Singapore Open package is a Singapore-exclusive offering, available only through The Straits Times (ST) and Business Times (BT) subscription that comes with a pair of free hospitality passes to the Singapore Open. It provides access to premium golf hospitality experiences, paired with an ST or BT All-Digital subscription.

This promotion will run from 2–22 April, 2026. 

With this package, you will receive:

  • ST or BT All-Digital subscription (24-month) that allows you to access exclusive articles and insight via four devices
  • One pair of Singapore Open hospitality access on your selected event day (April 23–26), including entry to premium hospitality experience at the Business Times Suite at Sentosa Golf Club, The Serapong

 

2. What will I pay?

You will pay a fixed monthly subscription fee over 24 months, depending on your selected package. 

  • The Straits Times All-Digital:
    • Package 1: ST AD $29.90 x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 23 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 2: ST AD $29.90  x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 24 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 3: ST AD $29.90 x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 25 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 4:ST AD $29.90  x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 26 Hospitality Pass 
  • The Business Times All-Digital:
    • Package 1: BT AD $32.90  x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 23 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 2: BT AD $32.90  x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 24 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 3: BT AD $32.90  x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 25 Hospitality Pass 
    • Package 4: BT AD $32.90 x 24 months with a pair of Singapore Open April 26 Hospitality Pass 

 

3. How will I receive ticket details?

You will receive a welcome email within 1 working day after your subscription is confirmed, including details on hospitality pass collection. 
Tickets must be collected in person at the Sentosa Golf Club, Will Call desk on 23–26 April 2026 by presenting your welcome email and acknowledgement email at the below timings.

There will not be any refund or exchange for any hospitality passes not collected by the end of the event day. 

 

4. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

No. Tickets issued are non transferable and only the subscriber can collect the tickets in person at the event venue.

5. What is included in the hospitality pass?

  • Subscribers are entitled to one pair of hospitality passes per entry to Singapore Open based on the date package selected
  • The hospitality pass gives you access to a premium on-site experience at the Singapore Open, designed for comfort, convenience, and enhanced viewing
  • Your hospitality access includes:
    • Entry to The Business Times Suite with premium viewing areas
    • Access to exquisite food and free flow of alcohol offerings within the hospitality area daily at these hospitality hours: 07:00 to 30 minutes after play
  • Breakfast: 7:00 - 10:00
  • Lunch: 11:00 - 14:30
  • Light Bites: 15:00 - 17:00
    • A more comfortable and exclusive environment to enjoy the tournament with superb view of the 9th hole
    • Exclusive encounter with the player at marquee drops
    • Access to the tournament grounds for a full event experience

6. Admission Rules

The attendee voluntarily and unconditionally agrees to the following terms and conditions concerning their attendance at the Tournament:

  • Sentosa Island admission fees are applicable and are not included in this ticket.
  • The attendee shall not access any Tournament area restricted to player access.
  • The organisers of the Tournament do not accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to property or injury to person in the Tournament venue, to the extent not prohibited by law. The attendee assumes all risks incidental to the game of golf and attendance at the Tournament and related activities, including the risks of being struck by misdirected balls and falls on the Tournament site and surrounding areas; and the attendee releases Asian Tour, sponsors, host organisations, players, volunteers, and all agents from all liabilities arising at the Tournament.
  • Any person may be refused admission to and/or removed from the Tournament venue if the person:
  • violates any venue health, safety and/or security restrictions, or refuses to follow the instructions of authorized personnel;
  • uses foul or abusive language or obscene gestures, or otherwise engages in inappropriate, disruptive, or illegal behaviour; or
  • breaches any applicable laws or regulations, or any of these Terms and Conditions.
  • All items brought into the venue by the attendee are subject to inspection.  The attendee will be asked to remove any prohibited or dangerous items.  Prohibited items shall include any advertising, commercial, political or religious items whatsoever, such as banners, boards, symbols or fliers.
  • The use of drones (remotely piloted aircraft) in or around the Tournament venue is strictly prohibited.
  • The use of personal transportation devices (except by persons with physical disabilities) in the Tournament venue is strictly prohibited.
  • Mobile communications devices must be on silent mode at all times. Flash may not be used in photography.
  • Mobile devices may be used to capture short video, audio and photos (content) only in certain designated areas throughout the Tournament week.
  • Content may be used for only personal purposes (e.g., personal social media) and not for any commercial purpose.
  • Live streaming or real-time coverage (e.g., shot-by-shot coverage) is strictly prohibited.
  • Phone calls are allowed only in certain designated areas.
  • Any other devices which may distract or cause annoyance to participating players and/or other spectators are strictly prohibited.
  • The attendee irrevocably authorizes the Tournament organisers to capture, record and utilize the attendee’s images or likeness incidental to any recording, transmission, or reproduction in any medium, whether now known or in future devised.

Final benefit details and inclusions are subject to the official Singapore Open programme.  

 

7. Admission to Venue

Each hospitality pass grants access to The Business Times Suite, located within the Tournament Hospitality area (marked “H” on the map).
 
As parking at the venue is unavailable, guests are encouraged to park at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and take the complimentary shuttle service from the RWS Bus Bay to the tournament venue. The shuttle operates at 20-minute intervals from 07:00 until the end of play, from 23–26 April 2026.

I'm an existing subscriber — how can I access this offer?

8. Who is eligible to take up this promotion?

All existing and new ST subscribers are eligible to take up this promotion. Depending on your current subscription status, a one-time transition fee may or may not apply.

  • No transition fee will be charged if you are:
    • New subscribers to The Straits Times
    • Vendor subscribers converting to a direct subscription*
    • Existing ST/BT subscribers without an ongoing contract
    • Existing ST/BT subscribers with an ongoing contract less than 12 months
  • Prorated early termination fee (ETF) will be charged if you are:
    • Existing ST/BT subscribers with an ongoing contract more than 12 months*

9. What is the minimum subscription period?

A 24-month minimum subscription period applies to all packages in this promotion.

 

10. What if I cancel my subscription before the contract ends?

If you terminate your subscription to the Package before the expiry of the applicable Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or you fail to pay to us any sums as and when due during your subscription, we may terminate your subscription and you shall be liable for the following termination fees and charges:

11. Can I combine this promotion with other discounts or offers?

No.
This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, voucher programmes, or retention offers.

 

12. Will I receive a refund if I do not attend the event?

No.
The ticket issued cannot be refunded or exchanged.
