The promotion runs from 22 March 2026 to 31 March 2027, or earlier if all entitlements are fully redeemed.

5. What is included in the InvestMe entitlement?

You will receive:

• Access to six (6) InvestMe-themed workshops held in 2026 and 2027 only
• Total value: $900
• Subscribers are entitled to one (1) ticket to each event
• Requests for additional seats will be chargeable at $35, and subject to availability

Subscribers are only entitled to the four (4) workshops scheduled for May 2026 to Mar 2027. Any workshop outside of this period is not included in the package.

6. How can I participate in the InvestMe events?

Each workshop is conducted in a hybrid format:

• 200 in-person seats available per event on a first-come, first-served basis via RSVP.
• Prefer to join online? A live-streaming option is available so you can catch the full event remotely.
• Can't make it? A full event recording will be shared after the session.

This ensures every eligible subscriber has a chance to participate—whether live, online, or later at your convenience. 

7. How will I receive event details and register for the workshops?

You will receive an Entitlement Email within 3 working days after your subscription is confirmed. This email will include:

• Upcoming event dates
• Topics
• Information on physical vs online attendance
• Important instructions

Closer to the workshop, you will receive a registration email (2–4 weeks before each workshop). Follow the instructions in this email to register.
All registrations are first-come, first-served.

8. What if I sign up after earlier events have concluded?

Subscribers who join after earlier events have ended will receive the video recordings for all past sessions. This ensures you still enjoy the full experience.

9. Can I attend the events if I’m subscribed to another Straits Times package?

Event access is exclusive to subscribers of this package. Other subscription plans do not qualify for these entitlements.
If you wish to attend the event, you will need to subscribe to this package separately.

10. Can I transfer my event slots to someone else?

Yes. Transfers are permitted among family members residing at the same registered household address.

11. Who is eligible to take up this promotion?

All existing and new ST subscribers are eligible to take up this promotion. Depending on your current subscription status, a one-time transition fee may or may not apply.

• No transition fee will be charged if you are:
  • New subscribers to The Straits Times
  • Vendor subscribers converting to a direct subscription
  • Existing ST subscribers without an ongoing contract
• A one-time $200 event fee applies if you are an Existing ST subscribers currently on a contract

Note: Contracted subscribers must call Customer Care to recontract, as the e-shop does not support this function.

12. I am an existing subscriber. Why do I need to restart my contract?

The ST InvestMe is a new 24-month subscription package that includes a full suite of expert insights with financial tips, content and events that helps in your financial decision worth over $900.  To access these entitlements immediately, a new subscription term is required.

If you are an existing subscriber currently on a live contract, a one-time $200 event fee will apply when switching to a new plan.

Restarting your contract ensures you receive full access to all upcoming InvestMe events and benefits without having to wait for your current plan to expire.

13. What is the minimum subscription period?

A 24-month minimum subscription period applies to all packages in this promotion.

14. What if I cancel my subscription before the contract ends?

An early termination fee (ETF) applies:
ETF =

• Administrative fee of $20
• Termination fee of $900 (amortised over 24 months)
  
  

This applies to both All-Digital and All-Digital + Print plans.

Any unused portion of the $900 amortised value will be chargeable.

Example:
If you cancel after 6 months, the remaining 18 months = $900 x 18/24.

15. Can I combine this promotion with other discounts or offers?

No.
This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, voucher programmes, or retention offers.

16. Will I receive a refund if I do not attend all six events?

No.
The entitlement has no cash value and unused sessions cannot be refunded or exchanged.
