Terms and Conditions

This subscription promotion (“Promotion”) is administered by SPH Media Limited (“SPH”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Participation in this subscription promotion ("Promotion") is subject to the terms herein (the "Specific T&Cs") and the Standard Subscription Terms and Conditions (the "General T&Cs") and, together collectively referred to as the "T&Cs").
In the event of any inconsistency between the General T&Cs and the Specific T&Cs, the Specific T&Cs shall prevail.

Under this Promotion, you will receive an item (“Premium”) when you sign up for a new subscription to any of the applicable publications (“Publication(s)”) under the applicable subscription package (“Package”). Subscriptions under this Promotion will be subject to the relevant minimum subscription period (“Minimum Subscription Period”). Details are as set out in the table below.

This Promotion is valid during the period commencing from 26 February 2026 to 25 March 2026 (the "Promotion Period").

To qualify for this Promotion and the Premium:
(a) you must meet the eligibility criteria set out in the T&Cs (in particular, Clause 6 below),
(b) we must receive your duly completed application form and payment before the Promotion Period ends (requests for extensions will not be entertained); and
(c) you agree to and shall maintain your subscription to the relevant Package without any change for the whole of the applicable Minimum Subscription Period.

Eligibility
This Promotion is open to all Singapore citizens, Singapore permanent residents, and foreign workers who reside in Singapore and have work permits or passes which are valid for at least 24 months from the date of submission of the subscription application.
The following table additionally sets out the groups of subscribers who are eligible for this Promotion, and how their subscriptions to the Package will take effect.

To qualify for the Package:
(a) You must take up a new subscription to the Package or add on to your existing subscription package in accordance with the T&Cs; and
(b) You agree to and shall maintain your subscription to the Package without any change to your subscription package for the entire duration of the Minimum Subscription Period (where "Minimum Subscription Period" is defined in paragraph 3 above to mean the period of 24 months) applicable to your subscription; and

Your duly completed subscription application form must be received by SPH Media Limited during the Promotion Period.

SPH Media Limited has the right to determine your eligibility for this Promotion at its sole and absolute discretion, and its decision thereon shall be final and binding. Each subscriber is eligible to receive one device per subscription.

Details of the Package are as follows:
(a) Minimum Period of Subscription
A Minimum Subscription Period of 24 months applies to all subscriptions to the Package. Subscribers who terminate their Package prior to the expiry of the 24 months will be subject to the early termination fees as specified in paragraph 12 below.
(b) Premium
Details of the Premium provided for the Package are set out in paragraph 11 below.
(c) Payment Mode of Subscription Fees
Subscribers to the Package under this Promotion may opt for different modes of payment of their subscription fees, as set out in the table below
i. Monthly Payment
Subscribers may opt to make monthly payments of their subscription fees for the Package (i.e. subscribers who choose the respective options (a) in the table below) shall be collectively referred to as "Recurring Subscribers".
ii. One-time Full Upfront Payment
Subscribers may opt to make one-time upfront payments of their subscription fees for the Package (i.e. subscribers who choose the respective options (b) in the table below) shall be collectively referred to as "One-time Payment Subscribers". Please contact our Customer Service Team at 6388 3838 should you wish to proceed with this option.

Premium
12.1 The premium provided with the Package is a mobile device model "Samsung S26 Ultra with 512GB storage". This device will be available in Cobalt Violet and Black variants. Availability of each colour variant will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
12.2 The following additional terms apply in respect of the Premium:
(a) You may only redeem one Premium per subscription and per household.
(b) Premiums must be redeemed in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Redemption Email. Any Premium not redeemed within the validity period of the Premium for any reason, including expiry or service disruption, will be forfeited. In such event, for the avoidance of doubt, your obligations under the terms herein (including, without limitation, to maintain the subscription for the Minimum Subscription Period) will continue to apply in full.
(c) If the Premium is to be delivered to your registered address, you must be physically present during the delivery, and if requested, present your NRIC and digital/printed Redemption Email for verification.
(d) The Premium is provided by a third party, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.Samsung (the "Premium Provider"), and is to be redeemed or used according to their terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion and using or redeeming the Premium, you accept that:
(i) Any dispute about the quality, condition, or redemption of the Premium (including warranty claims, if any) is to be resolved directly with the Premium Provider and we are not obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with them.
(ii) Your use of the Premium at your own risk. We are not responsible for and we do not guarantee: (1) that the Premium Provider’s services or platforms will be accessible, secure, reliable, or be without disruption, interruption, errors, virus or other harmful elements, or (2) that the results, information, contents or materials derived from the use of their services or platforms are accurate, reliable or suitable for its users.
(iii) The Premium Provider may update, modify, or change the terms and conditions of use of the Premium or its services at any time, and we shall not be liable to you for any such update, modification, or change.
(iv) Except to the extent that they may not be excluded by law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind in respect of the Premium, whether implied, express or statutory, including without limitation the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
(v) To the fullest extent allowed by applicable laws, we shall not under any circumstances whatsoever be liable for: (1) your use of the Premium, (2) any delay, failure, or default of the Premium (including redemption of the Premium), (3) any service offered by the Premium Provider (including, but not limited to, any failure, interruption, disruption or downtime on the Premium Provider’s platform / mobile application), and (4) the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties (including the Premium Provider) in connection with or related to your use of the Premium. You further indemnify us against any losses or damages that we may suffer arising from your use or redemption of the Premium.
(f) The Premium is provided for your personal and non-commercial use only. You will not resell the Premium to any other persons whether for profit or otherwise, and you shall not charge other persons for use of the Premium.
(g) The Premium is available whilst stocks last, and we reserve the right and discretion to substitute the Premium with any other product of similar value. No exchange or re-election of the Premium is allowed once your application has been submitted.
(h) The Premiums are not transferable or exchanged for cash, credit, or other items, and are not valid with any other discounts, vouchers, or promotions. Any unutilized amount for the Premium will not be refunded and cannot be used to offset any existing or new subscription or promotion.

Premium Warranty
(a) The manufacturer of the Premium provides a standard 12-month manufacturer product warranty (the Standard Product Warranty) in respect of the Premium provided under the Package.
(b) The subscriber must provide the SPH Redemption Letter and SPH Subscription Order Acknowledgement upon claiming for warranty. The subscriber to refer to Samsung’s device warranty for details: https://www.samsung.com/sg/support/warranty/
(c) All matters relating to the Standard Product Warranty are solely between the subscriber and the manufacturer and SPH Media Limited will not be responsible for any discrepancies or changes (if any) in respect of the foregoing. SPH Media Limited will also not be liable for any direct or indirect claims, actions, demands or complaints, or any liabilities, judgments, compounds, penalties, losses, costs, damages, expenses, personal injury or death in connection with the Standard Product Warranty.

Home Delivery Service for Premium
(a) Premium fulfillment will only begin on 6 March 2026. Subscribers who are successful in their purchase will receive their Premium within seven (7) working days of the fulfillment start date (6 March 2026) or the date of subscription confirmation, whichever is later. All queries to cancel or reschedule the appointment should be made directly to the Customer Service Team at 6388 3838.
(b) The name provided in the subscription application must match exactly the name stated on the subscriber’s NRIC. The delivery address provided must also correspond with the subscriber’s NRIC. SPH Media Limited reserves the right to reject any application or withhold delivery or redemption of any Premium or Device where the name provided does not match the identification records.
(c) The Premium shall be delivered to the subscriber’s registered address. The subscriber must be physically present at the time of delivery. If the subscriber is unable to be physically present, the Premium may be released to an authorised representative at the registered address upon verification of the subscriber’s identity and such other information or documentation as SPH Media Limited may reasonably require.
(d) Delivery of the Premium is subject to the availability of stock from Premium Provider, Samsung’s authorised distribution partner. As the Premium relates to a newly released product, there may be delays in stock availability or fulfilment. SPH Media Limited shall not be responsible or liable for any delays in delivery arising from delays, shortages or constraints in the release or supply of products by Premium Provider, and any delivery timelines provided shall be indicative only.

Termination
15.1 If you (i) terminate your subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or (ii) during the Minimum Subscription Period fail to pay to SPH Media Limited any sums as and when due and SPH Media Limited exercises its rights herein to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH Media Limited respectively upon notice by SPH Media Limited:
(a) administrative fee of $20; and
(b) applicable early termination fees of $1,530.00.
15.2 For the avoidance of doubt, if you terminate your subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, the fees in paragraph 15.1 shall be due and payable by you. In the event of a termination of a subscription to the Package before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, (a) all of the subscriber’s entitlements under the Package (including, without limitation, the Standard Product Warranty (as defined below)) will cease and (b) all amounts paid prior to the date of termination will be strictly non-refundable.
15.3. You may cancel your subscription to the Package at any time after the Minimum Subscription Period. However, you agree that your subscription to the Package will continue and be renewed automatically subject to Clause 15.4 on a monthly basis until you expressly instruct us that you wish to cancel your subscription by providing us with at least 30 days prior notice in one of the following ways: (a) in writing and sent by post to Customer Service, Consumer Division, SPH Media Ltd, 1000 Toa Payoh North Annexe Level 6, News Centre, Singapore 318994 ; or (b) by calling our Customer Service Team at 6388 3838; or (c) by emailing us at circs@sph.com.sg.
15.4 Upon the expiry of 24 months from commencement date of your Package, your Package will be automatically converted to the following pricing model:

By subscribing for the Package under this Promotion, you agree and consent:
(a) to the terms of our privacy policy as amended from time to time, available at https://corporate.sph.com.sg/legal/sph_privacy.html "Personal Data Protection Notice"), and the terms of the Personal Data Protection Notice incorporated into the T&Cs by reference; and
(b) that we may collect, use, process and/or disclose your personal data to communicate with you for purposes relating to this Promotion, provide you with the Premium, marketing information on products and services we offer, and such other purposes we may reasonably deem appropriate, or for such purposes that you may have otherwise given your consent for.

We shall in no way be responsible or liable for any loss (including, without limitation, any indirect or consequential loss and damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information), liability, expenses, claims and costs arising out of or in connection with the this Promotion or the Premium, including, but not limited to, any actual or alleged injury, damage, death or other consequences occurring to any person as a result, directly or indirectly, of the possession or use of the Premium whether claimed by reason of breach of warranty, negligence, product defect or otherwise, and regardless of the form in which any such claim is made, save for any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable laws (in which case that liability is limited to the extent allowed by applicable laws).

Any waiver given by us for a breach of any of the T&Cs by you shall not operate or be construed as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach on your part.

We may, at our sole and absolute discretion, vary, amend or revise the T&Cs and/or terminate or withdraw this Promotion at any time without prior notice.

The T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and all persons who participate in this Promotion shall be deemed to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
